    If dual core is the same as hyperthreading xp will display two processors in task manager.

    sorry I only have 4 xeons but here's a picture anyway. btw if I enabled hyperthreading It would display eight.

    Dual core is different. Thanks for the pics of HT, we've got a bunch of those processors in place and I know that the OS sees them as separate processors.
