    I'm all for taking shortcuts, but reverse engineering an existing database to get its design is a little over it

    Of course you would miss the process of effectively designing a database according to "standards" though. Which would not be a very effective learning tool
    Exactly, as I read it Neg was looking for a tool to assist with a database design course...........err "cheats don't help"
