Country ip address class range
A while ago i ran in to a file on the net that had a list of country ip address ranges. I found a few services on the net that provide ip-to-country resloution. But i was wondering if anyone has this list or if there is such a thing.

Take a look at this one, too:
It takes a little time to understand how IP addresses are assigned but there are ranges allowed across the world and for every country. Check out the hyperlinks in said webpage.

I looked at those lists and found them to be so fragmented that they were of little use other than for determining which country an IP came from - which a whois will usually accomplish quite well. Damn shame they were so haphazard issuing the IP's because then this list would have had several security related uses....
