Just a few questions about the site structure in general...

recently i downloaded phpbb as something to mess around with and put to use the PHP ive been slowly learning in recent week

and that got me thinking about this site


no this isnt a ploy to find out the inner workings of the site to exploit it

but if someone could share with me what this site uses that would be great

bb system *heavily modified phpbb or something else*
what mods in use
what smtp server

stuff like that....

not always online but is most of the time



basicaly id like to know as much about this actual site as possible

The bulletin board is vB modified with Karma and a few other touches. Ask mnstgrl for specifics or search the forums, I'm sure there's information all over the place.

its just a small site i use with my friends around town.... little community thing mainly... but more will be added in time

Might wanna check your hosts file... the no-ip DNS takes me to http://24.14.236.227 ... an actual phpbb forum...

the server is on my computer..... this one... its small not outsourced

my ip for my house is 24.14.236.227

i get about 3 users per day.... im not that worried about the bandwith or outsourceing

its the latest phpbb fourm that is made for php5

Wow, you need a spellchecker on that site

I personally don't take a site serious if there are alot of wrong spelled words there.
