huh.. what is open source about hardware?
and if your talking about the software for the system... I say again HUH... iit says base Operating System. not required O/S... so seeing as most of the parts in it are off the shelf.. whats the problem??..

the machine runs a version of windows w/ a proprietary sofware to control the comp/robot. i was just trying to say that i'll be fun to use linux/BSD w/ an open source software. maybe modify another open source robotics software.
devpon... i guess it didn't take any time at all
PS: i just think that it is a great idea. imagine your system hidding somewhere in a closet and you just call it out, tell it to bring you a beer. obviously always connected wirelessly; hey... do i have any new e-mails.
