    Laptop to Tv

    Hi im wanting to know if its possible to play a movie on youre laptop and have youre laptop connected to your tv where you can watch the movie. Does anyone know what equipment i would need for ?

    I would suggest using svideo. I imagine a lot of laptops have an svideo out port. Most will not come equipped with any kinf of RCA or coax port. Just plug the svideo out to the connection on the back of the TV and you should be set to go.

    If I missed something, somebody else should catch it... this isn't my area of expertise.

    Just remember S Video doesn't carry audio.

    But you can get this for cheaper. I know that Radioshack has it for 99 US dollars. Probably, could even get it for cheaper.
