What about the movie Operation Takedown, Oh wait can't show that movie to students there is nudity in it. woops sorry. Yeah go with hackers or net. I liked Operation Takedown for several reasons but the main reason is how the hacks were shown.

You can show those types of movies to students... well... as long as they are out of high school.
They watch worse stuff at home... not to mention on the computer.
I guess we should not assume.
(most security classes that I've heard of are college and above)
Heck... I can't find any security related degrees around here as a bachelors... only masters.

I would recommend freedom downtime, and sneakers.
FD shows the more political side of hacking, and scoffs pretty hard at takedown (which i thought was alright), and sneakers is just a plain old classic.

I would go for;
In the Realm of the Hackers - about Pheonix & Electron - two Australian hackers who were suspected of releasing the Wank Worm the took out NASA in the early 90's good view into the psyche of a teenage hacker.
Freedom Downtime - Mitnick story
.... as they are more doco-movies with real life events as the basis of the storyline.
For the Hollywood take on things
Operation Takedown
War Games
Hackers
.. no one mentioned Enemy of the State ... not really a Hacker movie but from memory bristling with technology.
