    Adobe Illustrator CS2 has a 'Live Trace' option which will convert any image into vector graphics. You can then resize it. Check it out. The Flash animation on this page shows a demonstration:

    Maybe they have a trial version.

    Okay so basically, your clarity suffers. But what if I wanna reduce the picture size? So tht it occupies less disk space.. Currently, I print-screen pictures that are large in size and then paste it in paint. save it as a jpeg. that seems to do the trick. But is there any more established way to do this???
