Once I had a virus on my computer and my Norton AV was unable to delete it. Someone, on AO asked me to try running my AV scan in Safe Mode and it worked. Ever since then whenever i have any problem with viruses, I try solving it in Safe Mode. Safe Mode is meant for troubleshooting.

Thank you guys for alll your help I'll try what nihil and hesperus mentioned and hopefully it will work.
