Run option in start menu.....
hello guys I just want to ask if it is possible to remove the stored programs list in the Run Option in Start Menu.......
I tried to look at the windows folder but sad to say i couldnt find it.... i also tried to look at the registry.... Im having a hard time to find it......
could you help me guys ......

are you talking about the saved list of previously run programs when you go to start then run or the list of programs that xp generates as the most recent used?

This shows you a couple of ways of restoring it. A little reverse engineering should get you where you want to go.

run regedit navigate to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Software\ Microsoft\ Windows\ CurrentVersion\ Explorer\ RunMRU\.
Delete all of the values in this key (everything in the right pane, except for (Default)).

You might try:
<run>
<startup options>
<advanced>
and clear the MRU (most recently used) from there?
