That depends on a lot of things..
Let's start with a couple of questions.
What brand (chipset), make and model of graphics card is it..
What operating system are you running..
Guessing it's Windows XP and some ati or nvidia card, you might just want to download the latest drivers from the makers site
ASCII stupid question, get a stupid ANSI.

Go to the website of the chipset mfg. (generally Nvidia or ATI), select your card from their list and download the latest set of drivers, select "run" when prompted and you're good to go.

It isn't paranoia when you KNOW they're out to get you...

Possibly,
1. What operating system?
2. What graphics card
3. Are they onboard graphics?
Go to the card manufacturer's website and look for an updated driver in the support downloads section. If your graphics chipset is integrated with your motherboard then go to the motherboard manufacturers site.
If you have a brand name computer and have not added a third party card then go to the computer manufacturers site.
Make sure that you select the right driver for your equipment and operating system.
Download it to a folder on your hard drive.........unzip (decompress it if it is compressed)
Go into:
<Control Panel>
<system>
<hardware>
<device manager>
<display adapters>
Double click on the device:
<driver>
<update driver>
Point it to the folder you downloaded the new drivers to.
