heh, another one already. The last one came not even a month ago. Wht's really wierd is their way of updating. Looks like instead of an update, it's a side by side install with the old version. Check out the pic.

Hi alamuru420123,
Since version 1.0.2 Firefox is suppose to ' replace/install ' over the previous version...don't know why you still have those other versions?
Eg
And...you're right...it is about every month a new version comes out.

I have no idea. I installed the update whenever firefox prompted me to. And each time it downloads the entire installation pack.

With versions previous to 1.0.2 you were promted to uninstall...then install...it should install over since 1.0.2....
this is the first time I've experienced a problem with downloading Firefox...tried the instant install icon ( failed )...tried the Firefox home page ( failed )...finally...Mozilla site ( successful )...anyone else experiencing a problem downloading this version?

I had no problem either. Earlier on the day, it gave me a prompt for software update and installed everything on its' own. As rider_royal said, maybe it's because of the traffic. I'll see if I can (g)mail you a copy. My bandwidth might pose a slight problem (40kbps => 5kBps) .
