The only problem with Deer Park Alpha 2 is that it's still in it's testing stages.
I hope it gets released early because I'd like to check it out.
Go check it out now. Been using it for awhile, haven't had any problems so far, and it is fast as hell.

Hi devpon,
I thought when it was finalized it was going to be Firefox1.1 ? And I had read in the link I provided in one of the threads I posted ( which has since changed ) that it wasn't recommended for users of Firefox at the time because of potential conflicts...
that you'd first have to uninstall Firefox to download Deer Park 2 ?
You've been using it as your default browser?
I don't think it'd be any faster for me because I'm on dial-up at 45.2kbps.

Actually, I have both of them installed, but when I start firefox, it loads Deer Park. I have not had any conflicts "yet". So I guess you will have to take a chance or wait. Do you feel lucky?

Hi devpon,
Current users of Mozilla Firefox 1.0.x should not use Deer Park Alpha 2.

I thought they were skipping from 1.0.6 to 1.5 with Deer Park 2. Anyway...devpon, how does it work with plugins, extensions, and whatnot?

works great so far with all my plugins and "whatnot"

I have only 2 out of 8 plugins have conflicts and Firefox won't let them run (which IMHO is a good thing.) One of them is a miniT (it allows me to reorder my tabs by drag and drop, and it is now worthless now that Deer Park Alpha has this built in) and the other is a Radial Context Menu (Google it, first result.) So far I like it. Can't wait for the final release!
