Top five responses:
1) Linux is only complicated if you don't take the time to learn it.
2) Linux is only a pain to set up if you don't enjoy understanding exactly how your system works.
3) Linux has plenty of applications, and enough software to emulate what you need.
4) Linux is as secure as you make it. Windows/Mac is the same.
5) Linux is free. Support is expensive -- for Windows and Linux. Learn how to use your machine.

Top 5 Reasons Not to Use Linux:
1. You want a virus, the commercial OS's are the targeted systems.
2. You want spyware tracking you and using resources.
3. You want worms & trojans. (I love ActiveX. )
4. You want less control of your system.
5. You like making the rich richer.

Erm, it kinda seems that at least two of you really didn't get the fact that the article was being ironic (or perhaps didn't read the article). I find it difficult to understand how you could think that a person who uses linux on all his computers would write an article explaining how Windows was better :P
