Newest members
When I first joined, my name was up in 'lights' on the front page under the 'our ten newest'
Due to the amount of banning and re-joining going on :
would it be possible to re-instate this list, as a quick and easy way to see who has joined recently.
At present, if someone re-joins, but does not post, they can still cause problems, yet they are harder to find without this little list
And what reason was there for stopping it in the first place ?
so now I'm in my SIXTIES FFS
WTAF, how did that happen, so no more alterations to the sig, it will remain as is now

Yes, new.
and POSTING .........
I am asking so that we can track those who DO NOT post straight away.
they can cause trouble
we cannot locate them too easily
as we are not too sure exactly who IS new
the list might help
and it WAS there once.

Sounds like a good idea, but yeah.. The moderator's and the users have been on top of The Specialists' recent incarnations and all that so I dunno. Don't see why not to have it on the front page though..

As per the 'bump thread' post, I'm just posting to keep this in view too
I think that as this WAS in use, that it would be a quick fix to do ?????
but mainly, I DO think it would help us to se in one place exactly WHO the new names on site are ........
I know that SOME of the miscreants were using old established profiles to abuse the system, but, most will HAVE to re-enter details if they wish to play [up]
and with this list, we could see which names are new.

the problem with the "Trouble makers" is there is very little that we as members can do, especially when they dont post.
The worst they can do is be bloody annoying..ie Bump Old Threads
The trouble makers we refer to ARE NOT NEW MEMBERS, rather Former members who have been banned and come back with an Axe to grind.. because of a problem with a group of members, moderators, or the Adminerstrators .. who ever.. but in their anger they make life uncomfortable for all others,.
And why bumping is bad.. some times old flame threads resurface, restarting old arguments .. arguments that have long since been forgotten, or resolved.. but in resurfacing they are given new opertunity to damage relationships on this board, not the original relationships but some of the newer ones. For the technical stuff, bringing up old threads can potentially bring errent information to the fore, out of date information no longer useful or could be counter productive..
How many people ever bother to check to see if the date is flashing (some cant because of browser or proxy setting).. so it isnt long for people who are not aware to be active in a defunct thread discussing a topic that is no longer relivent.
So it isnt that Newbies are disliked, it is there is no way of telling ID-10-T former members from the good newbies.. As members we cant do a thing untill they post, and then only if they post crap.. AP's for what is posted not who is posting..

Ok, some brain dead piece of turd is bumping again.
So lets have the newest member list back on front page, so we can see who is the new starter, and THEN we can check if any of them are actually IN the archives...........
Can we have it NOW please ...............
