CYGWIN User Roll Call
Red Hat and a large number of volunteer programmers have put a lot of effort into making CYGWIN.
Other than myself, does anybody use it?
I never hear or read about anyone using it.

I use CYGWIN now and then. I don't find it terribly useful though. It's just fun to mess around with.

I use it on my partner's mum's PC so that it can run sshd and that I can control the machine via VNC using port re-direction when she's managed to click the wrong thing & mess up her PC

I used to use it...I find it doesn't work with Service Pack 2.

I'm another one who plays with it. Kinda fun when I have the time.
I came in to the world with nothing. I still have most of it.
