Think it'll go? They seem to have the big players involved but these things seem to start ok until someone toes get stepped on then the project goes in the crapper.

It would save a hell of a lot of research time.

This looks like a good idea. It would allow people who give information to do something like include a link to a google search for the ID tag to uncover any additional information not on their site and confirm details...but that could mean sending customers to a competitor so I doubt we will be seeing that anytime soon.
