AO was down tonite ( I think?)

Im a nite owl and I was up around 1:30am-2:30am Central time here in Texas... and AO was down I think, I got a SQL database error ( im sorry I dont have the whole error I should have written down!) and it wouldnt let me onto the site, it said " please refresh this page and see if it works, and it said the admins had been contacted so I guess they fixed it but, anyway it all started when I clicked on the "tutorials" link on the right of the homepage. It said " No database" so I clicked the back button then the whole site stopped working for me for about any hour but it seems to work now I guess? any thoughts?

    Hey Tex~

That has been coming up regularly for me

In the old days I would run "repair database" then "compact/compress database" and that usually sorted it out.................but I have no idea what they use here

EDIT: a defragmentation also can help, and look if there is enough freespace on the server...............I get very nervous when that falls below 20% because your os and DB tools don't have enough working space?

I wouldn't care if they would go into 'maintenance mode' for a full day if it has to to fix the problems.

The thing is... only Shrekkie seems to be causing the problem. So it's rather curious as to what's happened to the account specifically that has caused it. I know that mnstrgrl is working on it so patience..

Could be mnstrgrl trying to find the problem with Shrekkie's account.
