Ip address's
I hope this is the right place to put this... I was wondering if there is a program. or something that I can tell what the IP address is that I'm hooked up to... I know on some systems it changes but is there a program so a person can check?

NT\2000\XP
at a command prompt
ipconfig /all
This will show you your ip address, subnet, gateway
or
netstat -an
will show you what ports are listening, connected etc and the remote address it is connected to
98etc
start >run>winipcfg
you could also try a tracert to www.google.com or something...and it may show you the hops to the ip address ..via routers, server etc
