locking an application on the desktop

I work in a call center, and we have a program that will constantly update stats about the amount of calls in the que, % of calls answered under 3 rings, etc. We are going to be deploying these to the call centers computers and we want to be able to lock the application in place, and to have the program load into the taskbar's loaded area next to the time, rather than just as another open program on the taskbar.

Does anyone know of any software that will allow us to lock the program up in any of these ways?

    Thanks,
    xmad

I'm sorry..I realise this isn't exactly what you asked for but maybe it can help..long day and I just gave it a glance so apologies once again.

    From:http://www.microsoft.com/resources/d...ntry/36697.asp
    load

    HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows
    Data type Range Default value
REG_SZ [Path]File name(s) (This entry has no default value.)
    Description

Specifies the programs that run when Windows 2000 starts. The programs are minimized (appears as a taskbar icon) while they are running.

This entry stores a list of file names of programs or files associated with an application. Each file name must be separated from the others by a space. If the file is not located in the Systemroot directory, you must specify the path to the file.
    Change method

To load a program at startup, add the application to Systemroot\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup. Right-click the icon, click Properties, click the Shortcut tab, and select Minimized from the Run drop-down menu. This will not actually change the value of the load entry, but it will emulate the behavior.

    Edit:Maybe these?
