Greeting's
I did not want to start a new thread for my question hence I'm posting it here. I was reinstalling windows but at the very end of the installation where it displays please wait just before windows boots for the first time. It took a long time for the windows to start (my hard-disk has physical bad sectors but few, not many). so I switched off the computer and then restarted it, the computer started but all my other partition's were not being detected and were showing FAT as its file system. After that my computer has not been started.
I just want to know is there anyway to get the data back. Windows does detect the amount of free space left and amount of space occupied.

For erasing the hard disk you can try Stellar wipe
http://www.stellarinfo.com/file-eraser.htm - It is a safe data eraser..
It removes the data in such a way that it is beyond recovery....

Thank you.
This thread is for discussing about data recovery tools. Many senior members have clearly stated the tools to be used for erasing.
If you know data recovery tools let us know.
