Hi Tex~ & Aspman
Thanks for the thoughts..............this was a "marital" thing with my second ex-wife
No big deal, and it was dealt with at the minimum cost to the state?
Not quite as regular as getting married
If you cannot do someone any good: don't do them any harm....
As long as you did this to one of these, the least of my little ones............you did it unto Me.
What profiteth a man if he gains the entire World at the expense of his immortal soul?

well I have gone to court twice in which I defended myself. The first time was a civil matter, an issue with a bad neighbor, and the other was traffic related (going /way/ too fast).
Never, ever, would I attempt to defend myself if there was possible jail time. I know my limitations, and I know the age old adage "A man who defends himself has a fool for a client".
Give a man a match and he will be warm for a while, light him on fire and he will be warm for the rest of his life.

Any man who represents himself in a murder trial has a fool for a client.
Mankind have a great aversion to intellectual labor; but even supposing knowledge to be easily attainable, more people would be content to be ignorant than would take even a little trouble to acquire it.
