    ThumbDrive Software

My next mad project...DUN DUN DUN! As of now I have a pretty big toolbox for onsite repairs. However I am adding a power supply a dvd burner blah blah, some things that are pretty big and my toolbox is already pretty packed...
So im buying a larger one and er anyways...

I was looking for some cd burning software that can run off of a thumbdrive or cd-r. All I should need it somethin that doesnt need to be installed and can write both cd's and dvd's. What do you guys think I should use?

How about a live Linux CD, something like Knoppix i.e., with cdrecord/dvdrecord?
