    As for giving it up, if there's plenty of Windows vs. *nix discussions across this board, why are you here?
    Because there's far more you can talk about in regards to security than just "Which OS is more secure"? That's why.

    If it is difficult to chose so then you can look at some reviews of "Security Suites"

    Here you can find few reviews on same product:
    http://www.firewallguide.com/suites.htm

    and chose what is best for you or look for more reviews or test all suites by youself and chose what you want....
