    IE Gmail Issue

    Hi

    Well i have installed the windows xp media center edition.

    IE version is 6.0.2900.2180xpsp2_sp2_rtm.040803-2158

    IE works fine for all sites but when i try to access gmail it gives the dialog box to send error report and that it has encountered a problem and needs to shut down.

    What could be the trouble ??

    I want to mention that gmail sets up a secure connectoin with the browser through which the mail is accessed.

    I have scanned my system with fully updated versions of

    Ad-aware
    Microsoft Antispyware

    Any one else having the same problem.

    I would say your browser is missing something! Try to go to Windows update website , and search for any critical or software updates. I would seriously suggest that you abandon Internet Explorer for Opera (there might be some minor self adjusting features to receive full viewing experience)

    Ok he said he aready has his updates and critical updates with SP2...so thats not his problem

    Btw its not his browser so changing browsers wouldent even do a thing for him...
    i tested it out on an XP box and its only him not his browser.

    ok heres a few things to do.
    First get this http://www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor/
    Then try an Virus Scan not just an spyware scan.
    Lastly what recent changes have you made?
