Ok say they only have like 1 nuke that is still no reason to send troops over there. Our military is at its breaking point with almost zero funds and an abismal recruiting rate. We cant afford another war I agree with Moo let someone else handle this.

I agree with Evil for once. Given the lack of support and out and out comdemnation of everything we do and stand for... Let Europe and Russia handle Iran. Afterall we are just one big failure anyway. Better build some defenses Europe. Remember if you leave them alone they will leave you alone right? Sleep tight. Also in your backyard there is that Sudan thing.

Do you really believe your own press????, have you asked the common schmoe from some of these places if they truly despise the US, or is it just those that have an agenda that you listen to.....

Granted, I bet the former security guards and clerks who used to work for Saddam probably do hate you, I mean geez they are out of a job now, did you ever consider how hard it is for people in some of these backward countries to voice dissent, do you actually want to see people running through the streets of Baghdad screaming I love the US of A (bang your dead)....do you seriously think North Koreans are going to voice their displeasure with Kim and announce their overwhelming and undying love for the US of A., while trying to feed themselves and avoid being killed by their demigod....

The people they despise are pretty much the same crowd you despise "politicians".

I agree the Europeans(East of the UK) should be more involved, but let's face it, can they??? they were unable to halt the crap that went on in Yugoslovia, and that's definatley in their backyard.

"Finish the job you started" to walk away now would be the equivalent of pissing on the graves of those who died over there........

What???? like there's a dollar amount on the active troops that are there now, is that how you equate your participation, in dollars, not in lives lost, can you put a dollar figure on that....how typical of a......geez what's it going to cost us down the road, will I have to give up my Xbox, so they can put a flak jacket on the next marine they send...attitude.

Do you really believe your own press????,
The last time I watched US TV was the election. It was ABC for about 1 hour. However I do read the newspapers, more European than American. The intelligent ones actually do like the US some what. Although their attitude towards America does tend to regurgitate what is in the media abroad. Which tends to mimic whats on the major media outlets.

So I not only don't believe my own press I out and out lack support for them and their condemnation for everything we do and stand for. But look no further than the public actions and rhetoric by foreign leaders both in press statements and challenges at EU and United Nations meetings and official United Nations documents. So do the people hate the US, no but their governments do.

In reality Iran is our problem. And if I have anything to say the ayatollah with have his ayASSahollah in a sling. I for one want the united states to go to Israel, tell them they have our full blessing, Iraqi airspace and escort for an operation into the Uranium anus of Iran. And given the Iraqi and Afganistan situation congressional appoval of assassination in war time would save a few billion dollars. In fact if we revisit 9/11 and the 9/11 commission president Bush may have just done that very thing with and assissination order for Osama on his desk the very day it happened.

I haven't been on here a while but a short history of RoadClosed. I have asked them.

Disclaimer: I did watch every single mouth watering episode of Rock Star INXS this summer. But I don't watch TV outside of a few very rare instances. Although I do watch DVDs. For instance the best show I have seen in a long time is the BBC series "Coupling". Damn that's good. Oh and some show based in Northern Ireland... and please excuse my spelling... BallyKissAngel? You know the priest wants the landlady. I do.

/EDIT oh and speaking of IRAN, I for one do NOT forget the sacrifice and honor of our Canadian brothers. In fact I will drink a nice brew for them this evening. An Irish toast (so I believe) "May you arrive in heaven 10 minutes before the devil knows you are dead"

I've long said that everything between Egypt and India needs to become a giant glass parking lot. After viewing the way our war in Iraq has been handled, however, I'm hesitant to add my voice to the 'go for it' crowd.

Maybe we *should* let Europe handle it? Better yet, maybe Russia? I mean, they owe us one for taking Afghanistan down (after they couldn't because of our interference, but hey...). I know! Let's line up the French and have 'em all surrender en masse, then have the Russian army right behind 'em saying "yah, just kidding!"

I agree on that one, they have sat in the background so long, all the time stirring the sh*t so to speak, same with China.....problem is though we have thought of these two as being the enemy for so long (arms race, cold war) that old habits die hard....

The reason a lot of these little sattelite countries are riddled with our interference is because we wanted to get in there before those pinko commies, if it's not the CIA, it's MI5 or KGB....I swear sometimes that the cold war was a good thing, at least we had a face to the enemy, and they were ugly brutes.....but we peered at them over the Berlin wall and they peered back..we played war games and spent gazillions of bucks, and they tried to keep up, if you think it was Democracy that brought down the Berlin Wall and ended the Cold War, think again, after 40 yrs of trying to match the US dollar for dollar, they went bankrupt, couldn't do it anymore, and that's with a total state of Communisim, no taxes, no wages, no problem......

I know! Let's line up the French and have 'em all surrender en masse, then have the Russian army right behind 'em saying "yah,
That's not too far fetched of an idea, we could let the French assimilate the Arabs, give them cheap vino and god awful cigarettes, and make them eat frogs legs with a bad attitude, or just let all of the Arabs immigrate to foreigner friendly France, let them settle in the suubuuurb's, resistance is futile, a la borg...

Hahaha! Have you seen the news within the past few months? I don't think having the French teach the Middle East the ways of the West is a good idea. I can still smell burning vehicle from here. I hope I completely missed the sarcasm Dalek. lol
