mouse right click prob

i am using xp sp2 on my system. ia musing proxy server,as i am conected to lan,but form last few days my mouse's RIGHT CLICK is not working properly, i.e it takes time to function properly.though i constantly scan my vomputer and also check fir any spy-adware,if any iremove them ,but still it problem doesn't go.

sugest something.plzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Mice don't last forever, it may be dying? Borrow another one and see if you have the same problem.

1. Clean it thoroughly.............I tend to spray isopropyl alcohol into them and leave them on an old newspaper overnight. DO NOT DO THIS IN YOUR BEDROOM OR OTHER ENCLOSED SPACE

2. Go into control panel and check your mouse settings.

3. Does this happen when you are on your desktop etc., or only when you are on the internet?
