    A Mac that isn't bad

OK anyone here knows I don't have a Mac and my first bout with OS X was... Rocky to say the least. However today, I saw something.... I'm drooling. It doesn't have an Nvidia card, and I like it anyway:

    http://www.apple.com/macbookpro/

It's 1 inch, and the cheap model has a 128 MB Video card...

Am I just blind or does the site not mention the price??

I also like this little inventive feature:

    Power Up With MagSafe

The new power adapter with MagSafe connector is designed to magnetically guide your cord into place and disconnect smoothly if someone (else) trips over it.
I can't tell you how many times one of my dogs or someone else kicks the cord and drags my laptop off the table... Especially my dogs... they panic and just take off, my laptop goes for a ride, and then I strain my vocal cords shouting at them... Good thing I have a toshiba laptop , they make very solid machines.

The price is there. It's when you go to order one they show you that.

MacBook Pro starts at just $1999.

Hhhmmm Magnets and drives....I like the fact it rips out easily, but is that really a good thing, after time, it may not stay in....have to say it does look pretty slim........

Oh and the $1999.00 is the cheap model.... And for an extra $500.00 you get 1GB of Ram and a 256MB video card, be worth the extra.....

The magnet wouldn't be powerful enough to affect any drives...

after time, it may not stay in....
That could be true, but I'm sure the laptop would be obsolete by the time that happens...

    And a slightly faster CPU
