    website executable permission?

    What is it meant by when a website has "executables permission enabled"? What could i possibly do?

    this setting is to enable the website to call an outside script or program on the host computer. this is used mainly with cgi script.
    chown -r us ./bases

    mnchur is right -- execute permissions generally allow the web server to execute a script (asp, php, cgi, etc.)... in and of itself execute permissions do not represent a vulnerability.
