I find that porn related websites are the most threatning & intrusive
to a pesonal computer's secure environment.

Seriously... This has been debated constantly here. But the truth is, in an NT environment, IE is the most securable browser.

I think you're at the point that you need to save any files you want to save, and do a clean install. at this point no matter how much you remove you're never gonna be very secure. Id save what i can and clean the rest out.
Start over, get a good OS, a good antivirus. and a better browser. screw IE.

I just read the thread that nokia posted on his first post here and it does not look good, it seems a little like the one I had on my computer but nastier. As Freak says, I think you will need to do a format and reinstall. This thing seems to infect every .exe file it can get it's hands on, but apparently data files are ok.
Try a reframe (NLP Term) and look at it as good experience and an exciting new adventure in the world of computing.
