    Question Hijackthis log help

Hi can someone check out my log. I just got this brand new computer and everyonce and a while i get a pop up saying "my computer is infected click to get this program to clean your computer".

I have Ad-Aware, Spy Sweeper, and Spybot S&D running. Did a scan with all 3 of them and nothing was found.

    THanks for the help.

    Yep,

but fix the highlighted entries anyway

Also, some of these ads (cuz that is all they are) are not all pop ups, get a good add blocker.

    Hi

Ran your log over at IAMNOTAGEEK and it looks fairly clean as has been mentioned.

You might want to get Firefox and get the adblocker extension.

Also while your at it, you may want to update your Jave Runtime java runtime version 5.0 update 6 you can remove the older version from add/remove programs, or leave it, it won't interfere, just the newer versions of java runtime won't overwrite the older versions, and they will take up space.

You also might want to limit or manage your startups through Startup Control Panel .
