    The stupid things we do.

Many people have been accused of doing things that isn't healthy. That hurts their body. Or any of a number of other things.

First, I never want to ever here another person say using a drug is really bad for you.

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/drugs/Stor...html?gusrc=rss

Second, I have realised there is nothing worse than ignorance/incompitance. I myself am guilty of this. I was once getting ready for a track meet. The day before the meet I drank 120 onces of water in roughly 1-2 hours. Not sure how close which one I was. But, I started to feel a little weird and eventually just layed on my bed kind of lethargic. Well low and behold. My own ignorance prevented me from knowing that there is such a thing as water poisoning. Yes, you can kill yourself from drinking too much water.

the recommend amount of water per hour is 1pint or 16 ounces. Let's just say I was a little over that.

anyway the point of this thread is pretty much to make fun of me for damn near killing myself from drinking water.

There were a couple times I actually said this before. One of the drug threads where people were trying to say it's illegal because it's not safe... nI pointed out within 100 glasses of water you'd die as your body started to shut down. I didn't read what that link you posted says but if it says you need more than 100 glasses you may want to take warning that it's actually less.

100 glasses is regaurdless of weight by the way, someone who weighs 100 pounds would need much less before death from water "sank" in.

Another one for the people here, some of you might remember where I posted a link to a web site that would calculate how much Caffiene you'd need to die... Most people including me need 43 cups of coffee before we die.

Lol, the next time someone argues with me over inhaling anything being bad for you because it's unsafe I'm going to tell them to pop an oxygen mask on, and not exhale. Just to prove a point that even oxygen would eventually harm you.

And for future runs, just to sort of set you "on track" You probably know this but EAT PASTA. Like a lot of it. Drinking water is fine and all and you DO want to drink a lot of it when you have to run the next day, but not as much as you did. I mean damn man you might as well have jumped in a river and drank yourself dry....

Haha we have something in common now. Both of us have almost died from an OD. Mine wasn't from water though... Or a drink.. Ah well.

Silly question: What was the intent of drinking so much water? What did you think you would benefit?

If you flush your system of a lot of the impurities you will run smother and be more likely to pr(personal record) Because the things in your body that hurt you won't be there. Also by flushing your system you will weigh less. Old track trick... And GOre you probably should of checked the link. It isn't about drinking water. It is about the guy that popped 40,000 X pills.

Yea, I know I shouldn't be putting it in my body, there is something about a 2 o'clock in the morning McDonalds run. It just screams "I love you".

TS...that was probably back when you had to club your meal before eating it.... jk

So much chemicals in the foods nowadays, the only safe way is to "grow" it yourself, I mean who actually reads the labels, and even if you did, unless you had a PHD in Chemistry, how would you know what was good or bad, it's all FUD anyway, one year scientists tell us that too much caffeine is not good, a couple of years later another group tells us that caffeine actually helps the heart and keeps the valves clean, who knows, someone may come out yet and tell us that for all of these years, eating spuds is actually bad for you and that bananna splits are great...(I wish)....

Injest, inhale or otherwise consume enough of anything and it will kill you.

    Toxicology FUD:

    Mustard is carcinogenic
    Burnt toast is carcinogenic
Apples (even organic) contain carcinogenic compounds
Tea contains tannins which are poisons
The common anticoagulant warfarin is rat poison
Many rocks (particularly granites) contain radioactive chemicals (i.e. radon)

And remember if you get too concerned about your food, starvation is fatal.

Rat poison has less side effects

If you buy E in Michigan, most likely it's Rat poison dipped in LSD and Viagra (No joke).
