Guy with the trojan/packet problem
Okay, so I'm back. I scanned my friends computer with the programs that he did have on it, namely, Spysweeper, Ad-aware, and AVG. Nothing came up. I dunno if my friend removed the trojan that he "found" or whatever already, but there's nothing now. I guess there's no way to find the packet sniffer or the packets, huh.

Hi,
1. Get EWIDO and A-Squared
2. Remember to run all scans in safe mode
3. Remember to turn off system restore before scanning
Nope, you won't find anything..................packet sniffers build up data very quickly so the flush themselves out when they have "phoned home"
Without wishing to appear rude, even if you found the "packets" I doubt if you would understand what you were looking at?
Time to move on?

Probably. The paranoid person in me doesn't want to though. Oh well.

I am afraid that whilst you have the setup you described in your other thread you will NEVER be secure
Concentrate on your own security and be careful.............get your own connection when you can
