Just a guess, but go back to the main page, refresh it and see if you are still logged in...........I sometimes get that problem if I have not been active for a while?

Are you using a tabbed browser, perhaps?
If not, you cannot change it.
Not because you are NOT using a tabbed browser, but because you are trying out a new feature, which this board knows you know nothing about, so it gladly saves all your silly goofball mistakes to trumpet to any passerby who will then roll on the floor and laugh out loud. And we thought computers were just electricity and metal bits.
Edit: This is a joke, get it? A JOKE!"

Firefox is a tabbed broswer is it not? so i guess i am using one. I dont know about your theory of keeping my post around for others... it was just my stupid post that said "test" and all i tested was that i knew how to use the "quote" function properly ( I do now!)

No, I haven't checked it out yet. But on most of our forums registered users cannot delete threads. I would assume it's the same here.
