Go U.S.A.!!!! With the only player in the World Cup that lives in a German castle, the U.S.A. obviously has the edge.

This year is the 40th Anniversary of the best World Cup Final ever... It's England's turn again!!!!
I remember it _so_ well... We had a 12 or thirteen year old daughter of one of my father's German friends staying for three weeks at the time. She had been there about a week when the final was on. An hour or so before the final my father told her, in his usual joking fashion, that if Germany won he would put her out on the street for the next two week. It was about ten minutes into the first half when we realized she wasn't watching and I was despatched to find her. She was in her bedroom sitting on the bed looking all rather folorn. When asked she was all worried about Germany winning and having nowhere to live for two weeks... My father had to come up and persuade her that he was joking and that she should come down and watch the game... She did and seemed quite relieved when we won in overtime...
Don\'t SYN us.... We\'ll SYN you.....

FRENCH GOALIE: Allo! Who is eet?
ENGLISH INTERVIEWER: Hey ya binnie. Who'd ya think will win the World Cup?
FRENCH GOALIE: I'm French! Why do think I have this outrageous accent, you silly person-a?!
ENGLISH INTERVIEWER: Okay. Well, aren't ya a bit o' worried we'll tromp you in the World Cup?
FRENCHIE: Of course not! You are English types-a!
INTERVIEWER: What are you doing in England?
FRENCHIE: Mind your own business!
INTERVIEWER: You know the Frenchies never win anything. You'll be the laughing stock of the countryside.
FRENCHIE: Ahh, You don't frighten us, you English pig-dogs! Go and boil your bottom, sons of a silly person. I blow my nose at you, so-called soccer players, you and all your silly English k-nnnnniggets. Thpppppt! Thppt! Thppt!
INTERVIEWER: What a strange person. Ahem... Now look here, my good man--
FRENCHIE: I don't wanna talk to you no more, you empty headed animal food trough wiper! I fart in your general direction! Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!
INTERVIEWER: Is there someone else up on your team we could talk to?
FRENCHIE: No. Now, go away, or I shall taunt you a second time-a!
INTERVIEWER: *Rolls eyes*
