Thread: Getting info off the net with UNIX/Linux

    Hi
    looks like I have a heap of research to do,,
    also I am wondering if Mandrake is the best choice for me there seems to be
    a lot of difference between the file hierachy it uses and the standard Linux OS.

    For example when I was refering to the File System Standards for Linux ,,Mandrake didnt follow
    a lot of them....

    No, it was for another one, in which he asked to be banned.

    I, personally, would not have done so until I had explained why the membership banned tinker through the AP system, and received confirmation that he wanted his account closed.

    Whilst there was nothing particularly good or bad about tinker's posts, I understand that he was sending people abusive PMs?
