shuttlexps problem
My uncle bought a shuttlexps and installed FreeBSD onto it, and now it overheats. The fan will kick on really fast and loud and then the whole system shuts down. I was wondering if anybody else has had similar problems and if anyone knows of a way to fix it.

I think you mean "Shuttle XPC" ???
They are supposed to be pretty silent, and use heat pipe technology which should keep them cool.
It sounds as if the fan is failing. I would also check that the heatsink/pipes are properly connected to the processor.
