    Backtrack 1.0 Final Released

    Hey Hey,

I'm a little late passing the word along, but I didn't check my personal mail all day as I was busy, so I just got the email myself...

The ISO is just about finished downloading for me... and I'm put it on my server... For those of you who want it immediately, use the torrent and be sure to leave it open for a while... If you don't want to use the Torrent or want to download it even faster... please don't abuse their mirrors... I know it's the latest and greatest but give me a day and I'll mirror it for all of AO to download.. it saves their bandwidth... and isn't costing me anything...

I'm about to burn it off and give it a go on the ol' laptop.... You can find all the changes since the beta @ http://www.remote-exploit.org/index.php/Developers_Log the list is pretty substantial.

    Peace,
    HT

Edit: Yes I hummed and hawwed about making this a thread here or in operating systems and I decided that while it is technically an operating system it's primarily a security toolkit as most people won't be running Backtrack for day to day use.

The HTTP Links are giving various errors - 404, 403 being the common..

FTP and Torrent appear to be OK..

I opted for the torrent.. (peaking my d/l bandwidth)

that is the state from my Arse-end of the World ISP link
