MCP Ready or not here I come!

Well I'm all set to take my MCP certification on Deploying Windows XP. Going to Grand Rapids Michigan to take it on thursday. I feel pretty confident that I will pass with flyin colors.

If you have taken the test 70-270 give me some advice on what to expect.

From what I have heard there are 58 questions and you have 150 minutes to take the test. I also heard that 8 of the questions are sorta bonus questions. I know I have to get a 700 - 1000 to pass that means I cant miss more than like 15 questions. Well anyhow wish me luck. I also have a job interview at this ISP company in town. Need the job sence my last boss fired me because I was looking around for a nother job. What a @ss.

Oh, I didnt, See I was on a networking job at the Mayors home, I asked him if he knew of any jobs that where opening up in the city for computer techs. I told him my current employment didnt make the ends meet so I need a new job. Well come to find out this guy is buds with the boss and told him everything. My boss told me I was outta there as soon as he found a new tech. only took him a week to find a new tech. I was cool about it, and made sure I didnt burn my bridges even thought I can if I wanted to I do know everyones email address and passwords, think of the fun I could have with that. LOL (NO I WONT DO ANYTHING, I do have ethics you know).

OK you have two and a half hours to do the exam. Do the easy ones first, then work through the rest. The fatal thing is to spend too long on a single question.

See I was on a networking job at the Mayors home,

Actually, your boss did you a favour................. he saved you wasting several years of your life? See, if he really appreciated you he would have upped your salary, not gone looking for another drone?

My point is, you were in a dead end

I've done the 70-270 recently - and passed ... Since the questions can be different for you I can't give really any good advice. Only thing I could say , if you practiced with test questions (either from a book or the ones you find online eg: cramsessions) and you could answer them without too many faults, you'll have most chance to pass the test without a problem (especially this one) .

I had alot of the "same" questions, all about profiles, roaming profiles, security of files and folders (read, write, deny, know the difference etc..) ....

Well ...Good luck with the test ... Don't forget to order your welcome packet on the MCP site once you pass , then you'll be part of the 3l1t3
