    Good Free Firewalls

    I'm looking for good free firewalls for windows os. I've tried sygate but want to know if there's anything else out there.

    zone alarm, symantec, etc. Take your pick. Google is your friend.

    Actually, there are very few...............Zone Alarm is probably the most common free one.

    You came to the right site for your question but, I'm going to rephrase what very_unhappy said in a more friendly fashion. On the main screen, I took the title of your thread and searched the forums, (which took me all of about 20 seconds) and on the very first page, 5th up from the bottom was a thread that was titled almost identical to yours. "Good Free Firewalls with Features"
    What does this mean? It means that you may aggrevate people here if you don't take the time to research topics that have been discussed before. Especially when there are not-so-old threads with a title almost the same as your own. I'm not picking on you, just giving some friendly advice.

    Why do people need to post saying to go search yourself, google it etc. Either help him or dont post at all. If everyone googled everything there would be no posts at all.

    Agreed comments from experiance are what is needed but at least his link was a full page of firewalls to download not just a go google it!.....who was he before?
