    Apostrophe screws up url links

Just noticed that I cannot link to a url containing an apostrophe.

I tried providing a link to Godwin's Law from Wikipedia... if I put the url bbcode in manually, it turns out like this:

    Godwin's Law

Probably because it doesn't recognize that as a valid URL... and if I let the forum software parse the link (check "Automatically parse URLs"), it turns out like this:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin's_Law

Minor bug, but it prevents people from referencing some sources.

it should work, as i've pasted urls before with the apostraphe in the url..

hmm maybe the admins have flecked up from all the word censor craziness that they did not that long ago...

Maybe a few to many silly filters have been put into place..

I have heard of carbon filters that one can sit upon and fart with impunity, have not had time to web them out, but the theory is sound, and that would be useful applied science!
