    alg.exe

    hi guys

What is Application Layer Gateway Service (alg.exe) sitting in c>windows>sys32 folder and if i use a third party firewall like is it required?

Also get the following warning in the firewall log:

    Blocked Incoming TCP

    Blocked incoming UDP

What is the significance of these messages.

    thanks!

Tcp and udp are ports whichs services use.
Firewalls block these all the time.
don't bother to much on these messages
If they block them, the firewall does it's job.
