Live linux CD - which one ?

Ok, been out of the live CD thing for a while, and knoppix-std just doesnt cut it anymore (its still in 0.1 I believe ?). I've heard of whoppix/WHAX and PHLAK, but was wondering what live cds you guys may use/recommend.

I'm looking for a good mix between forensics and pent-testing so what do you suggest ?

BackTrack is Whax and Auditor merged, and is probably the best security live CD out there. You can find it at http://remote-exploit.org

If you don't like B|T... Take your pick

    Backtrack is the strongest swimmer

I keep an eye on pentoo http://www.pentoo.ch/-PENTOO-.html

    as well as Anonym.OS http://kaos.to/cms/

but in both cases Backtrack is more robust I just like to track gentoo and openbsd related projects

I'm going to have to say PHLAK because it's the professional Hackers Linux Assualt Kit.

Nah i' just i use it majority of the times, when i need to boot in a live mode without touching the hard drive etc.

Plus i like the interface a little more then the interface that comes with knoppix..

    cheers

    Hi All,
Currently i used Linux Auditor, and i found the help/tutorial is unavailable. Maybe i'll also try using Backtrack. Do you guys know which livecd for security is the most popular?
