    Creating a VPN connection

    Hi

    I'm trying to create a VPN connection in windows, but everytime i finish, it keeps setting up as a dial up connection. I select the VPN connection in the setup, and I was able to create a connection on another PC, but I need this one to connect to it. Any ideas?

    Thanks ahead of time.
    The only four things i need are food, water, a computer, and the internet.

    Not sure what you are trying to do....

    Where is the machine you are trying to connect to...on a LAN....or over the internet??

    For the VPN to work.....you will first need a connection..LAN or INTERNET...and then you set up the VPN to route through that connection.

    The VPN dialup number will be the IP address of the machine you want to connect to.

    all depends on how you are connected....and where the VPN device\machine is??
