    3Com 10/100 Mini

    Heya I`ve got some problems with an 3Com 10/100 Mini Pci Ethernet Adapter :
    I can not change the MAC adress not from config (normal way) and not even from the regedt32. What to do need to change the MAC pronto. The card is instaled on Dell Latitude. Need some help if anyone know the answer please help.

    Why do you need to change the MAC? Why would anyone want to change it's MAC?

    I have moved this thread to where it may get more attention and a better response

    "Mac security discussions" is for the Apple/MacIntosh platform, which this clearly is not

    BE SURE YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT IT IS YOU ARE DOING

    Software licences and internet services can be bound to a specific MAC address, so if you change it, things might suddenly stop working.

    As SirDice implies, it is not the sort of thing you would normally want to mess with. If you do, be sure to know what you have changed and make backups first!
