In my PC, the folder option is disappeared from the tools menu even from the control panel.
I tried to make it by using the following process.
goto start, run
click on File
select add/remove snap-in
click on Add
select Group policy object editor
click on Add
click on Finish
click on close
click on OK
Expand User configuration
Highlight Windows component
on your right hand panel
look for Removes folder option menu items from the tool menu
but it is not appeared.
Is there any other solution for it..

If I were to write a .reg file for it I guess it would be something like:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
You say you checked the current user, but please notice that LOCAL MACHINE has a similar setting.

Could be a corrupt dll. Try running the system file checker i.e. sfc /scannow from start>run.

Couple of questions:
1. What happens if you log on in safe mode?
2. What happens if you try a different account (administrator, for example?)....... you might try creating a new user account/profile? I was just wondering about some sort of profile corruption.
What is the OS level and patch status?
Has this started recently? If so, have you done anything major to the machine?
Are you on a network? If so, what happens if you use a different workstation?

Again i followed the same registry writing process.
Now i can appear/disappear folder options.
But i have two administrator account in my PC.
But when i tries to enter into regedit from one administrator account type.
It gives an error like "Registry editing has been disabled by your adminstrator".
But i have not changed any configuration like this from any one of the adminstrator account type.
Your idea really works. I got my solution.

I cannot give you an explanation. I am afraid that accounts/profiles do get corrupted for whatever reason, and there is not much that you can do, other than that which I suggested.
I do suspect the shutdown process though ("saving your settings") if you had a power supply abnormality at this time it could corrupt your data. Similarly, just pulling the plug?
