now instead of regular users, im seeing more of search engine indexing spiders. r they supposed to show up in users online list?

Yes, I changed the setting so they'd show. This version has infinitely better SE friendliness so I expect a greater number of SE bots.

thx for the quick reply. frankly, it just messes up the whole user online list. i dont think i want to see which search engine spiderbot is doing what!
edit: it is, ofcourse useful for the admins. but nevertheless useless a member or an anonymous browser (which is enabled now)

It's just temporary, in fact I can turn it back off now. I wanted to see how bombarded we were with bots, which was considerable. That's good for us, as it'll raise the rankings and bring in more users.

That is if they don't run when they see the new (?) format.

Oh, I don't think they'll run from that. There are lots of thriving forums using this software.
