    seeing spiders

    now instead of regular users, im seeing more of search engine indexing spiders. r they supposed to show up in users online list?

    Yes, I changed the setting so they'd show. This version has infinitely better SE friendliness so I expect a greater number of SE bots.

    thx for the quick reply. frankly, it just messes up the whole user online list. i dont think i want to see which search engine spiderbot is doing what!

    edit: it is, ofcourse useful for the admins. but nevertheless useless a member or an anonymous browser (which is enabled now)

    It's just temporary, in fact I can turn it back off now. I wanted to see how bombarded we were with bots, which was considerable. That's good for us, as it'll raise the rankings and bring in more users.

    Oh, I don't think they'll run from that. There are lots of thriving forums using this software.
