    Question Packet Shaper

    Howdy,

Trying to impliment this on our network. We using the packetshaper for obvious reasons. We need to make the following connections:

inside network - pix - outside network
client - gateway router - internet
client - gateway router - inside network
client - gateway router - internet
client - gateway router - outside network
outside network - pix - inside network

how do i impliment this correctly using my packetshaper? I need to monitor the flow of traffic to all networks. Am i making sense?
    .....I rather not say....

    As in Packeteer Packetshaper?

How do you plan to make all those connections with one box? Do you have LEMs? If so how many.

We have 3 lems. The connectivity will be in a triangle.

    --------- VLEG2 --------
    | Router | -------------------------------------| PIX |
    ------- \ /--------
    / \ / \
    / \ VLEG1 VLEG 3 / \
    \ / Internal
    Cust \ /
    \ /
    \ /
    ----------------------------------
    | | ------- ISP
    | Internet |
    -----------------------------------

Sorry chaps .... drawing above is the best I can do. We need to get customer to connect to our network as well as the internet. Internet to connect to customer as well as to us. Our network to connect to customer as well to internet. We are using 3 LEMS.

What happens each time is that the minute we connect LEM3 , we get a routing loop. Why?
