Making Linux Fun?

Hi Everyone

Just setting up some services on my Linux system and had a thought.

There has been tones of books on all the little extras one can do in Windows, like changing startup screen etc.

Yet there's nothing likt this for Linux. I wondered if anyone ever done anything they thought fun and if the could share this with everyone else, write like a short tutorial

I think this will be a greate fun for all of us. And if things like this start to appear, this could make Linux just a bit more popular.

You don't need a ton of books, you can change anything and everything relatively easily on Linux/BSD

Will do, as soon as I finished the next dozen of books I need to cover for my work .

Linux will never be Windows. It's a different world in many ways,
and of less interest to most users. Less GUI, more shell. I'm
reminded of an old Unix joke:

"There's only two things that ever came out of Berkeley: Unix and LSD."

And my addition to that joke is: "...the one I know, but I'm still learning Unix."
